- Managed Quality and Process Engineering functions at Polaroid
Corporation where he consulted on product development in
high-volume, web-driven, operations for automatic assembly
and chemical coating.
- Consulted at all levels in the techniques of product quality
strategy, from pre-prototype planning through selection
of materials and process conditions, to control on the manufacturing
floor.
- Instructor and curriculum developer from 1978 to 1997
for Boston Section ASQ in Statistics, Quality Engineering,
and Quality Management.
- Instructor and Curriculum Development Team Member from
1983 to 1988 for Polaroid Corporation's internal courses
in statistical engineering as well as product and process
optimization (Taguchi) methods.
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) graduate with
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
